Auf nach Akureyri! / Let’s go to Akureyri! (12. Tag / Day 12)

Heute blieb es trocken, aber es gab noch viel Wind. Ich bin recht spät aufgebrochen und hatte unterwegs noch einen Besuch gemacht. Von Hofsós ging es nach Siglufjörður, dort hatte ich einen Ladestopp geplant und konnte noch ein gutes Stück der spannenden 2. Halbzeit Island-Argentinien miterleben. In der Kneipe war Stimmung! ►Video der letzten Sekunden des Spiels in der Kneipe.
Dann erreichte ich Akureyri. Nach Einchecken und Kochen dann Motorrad aufladen und (diesmal vorsichtig) waschen. Jetzt konnte ich endlich zur Fußballhalle, wo nach und nach die Teilnehmer mit ihren Fahrzeugen eintrafen und alles aufbauten. Ich bin sehr glücklich dabei sein zu können und begeistert, dass alles geklappt hat mit der Tour. „Bis hierher“ sage ich immer dazu. Das Sahnehäubchen kommt dann noch Dienstag und Mittwoch mit einer schönen Runde durch den Nordosten. In den Bildunterschriften gibt es weitere Infos zu heute.

Das war mein Blick heute Morgen aus dem Fenster, brauchte nur den Kopf vom Kissen erheben, um diesen Blick zu haben.

Während das Motorrad aufgeladen wurde, hatte ich Gelegenheit die letzten 20 min des spannenden Spiels Island-Argentinien zu sehen.

Today it stayed dry, but there was still a lot of wind. I left quite late and had made a visit on the way as well. From Hofsós I drove to Siglufjörður, where I had planned a charging stop. During that I could see the last 20 min of the exciting second half Iceland-Argentina. In the pub was a terrific atmosphere! ► Video of the last seconds of the match in the pub.
Then I reached Akureyri. After checking in and cooking then charging the motorcycle and washing it (this time carefully). Now I was finally able to drive to the football hall, where the participants arrived gradually with their vehicles and set up everything. I’m very happy to be there and excited that everything went well with the tour. „Up to here“ I always say.
